Mina Mirkovic – Camping Association of Serbia

Founded in 2005, Camping Association of Serbia (CAS, http://www.camping.rs) mission is to initiate development of local communities and socio-economic development through cooperation with the local government, entrepreneurship and non-government sector, primary by development potential for campsites and holiday parks in Serbia by creating possibilities of construction of new campsites and holiday parks, revitalization of existing capacities and sustainable tourism in general. From the very beginning, CAS has been active in presenting all 37 Serbian camping sites on more than 35 Tourism Fairs worldwide. Since 2007 CAS is a full member of the EFCO&HPA and since 2010 member of the DCC.
In CAS, I work as a Project Manager, Head of Department for Sustainable Development and Cooperation. Due to, my fields of interest are education, culture, environment, sustainable development and tourism mainly.
Camping Association of Serbia connects almost all above mentioned spheres of interest in its projects. Through the activities in Danube Region, educational and capacity building programmes impact on social and economical development of the Region, enable knowledge exchange and intercultural dialogues, promote natural and cultural values as well as activities that do not violate natural characteristics of environment in the protected areas. Further, camping is always on the list of outdoor activities of sport- and nature lovers.
