Eduard Nicolescu

I have been manager of the Education and Rehabilitation centre (CRRES) Buzau since 01/10/1999. I have PhD in Social Theology (social work / psychology) and over 20 years experience in social work. Also, I have 15 years working experience as a social manager, founder and president of non-governmental association „Tineret Buzau 2007“. With this organisations I have participated in more than 20 programmes of the European Union, Anna Lindh foundation, UNESCO and NATO seminars.

As I have experience in one cooking project I am interested to develop similar initiative with neighboring country, for example Serbia.

CRRES is a municipal institution devoted to providing quality social services to children, youth and adults with both physical and mental disabilities (from moderate cases to severe ones). The institution functions on local level. The organization is specialized in providing not only specialized rehabilitation services but also at ensuring high quality education services for the needs of the adult learners coming to the centre. We use and adapt a variety of non-formal education techniques for the need of the disadvantaged community and strive to enhance their learning capacity in global challenges topics such as environmental education, culture, and sustainable living.

“Tineret Buzau 2007” in a non-governmental, non-profit, independent association with public benefit, constituted for an undetermined period, based in Buzau city.
The purpose of Tineret Buzau 2007 is to the promotion of intercultural dialogue and non-formal learning, European cooperation between youngsters, the promotion of new public policies concerning the interests of the youth, promotion for the integration of young people with disabilities in the community, the development of young people’s civic conscience.

Interested in education, culture, environment, work with minorities and disabled people.
Hobbies – guitar, music, travel, foreign languages.
